• Pioneering Neonatal Programs: Under Prof. Gupta’s leadership, groundbreaking DM and Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) programs in Neonatology were introduced in institutions like SGPGIMS Lucknow, Himalayan Institute Dehradun. And now  GEIMS being made  a beacon of neonatal education.
• Establishment of NICUs: Prof. Gupta has played a pivotal role in establishing Neonatal Intensive Care Units in various hospitals, including the Indian Navy, ensuring high-standard care for neonates nationwide.
