For all allotted candidates, the following instructions are to be followed:
Candidates who have been allotted seat at Graphic Era Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun for MBBS by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) through centralized common counselling, should report at Graphic Era Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun on or before the last date of reporting as per MCC UG Counselling 2024 Schedule and Guidelines.
Reporting Venue: Medical Education Unit, Ground Floor, Academic Block, Graphic Era Institute of Medical Sciences, 16th Milestone, Chakrata Road, Dehradun
Reporting Time: 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM (Admission process will take one-day duration)
Reporting Dates: 26th August 2024 – till the last date of reporting as per the MCC Allotment letter

*Ensure you are carrying at least 1 set of photocopies for all of the above documents. All copies will have to be self-attested.
Note:
The above certificates mentioned are mandatory and have to be submitted to Academic Office at the time of reporting for admission.
Candidates reporting for admissions with incomplete set of the above documents will not be allowed to undertake the admission procedure & will be rejected. The same will be intimated to DGHS.
Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute/ College/University and come for admission with a certificate stating that “their original certificates are deposited with the Institute / College / University” will not be allowed to take admission in allotted Medical College.
Candidates are advised to keep with them a softcopy/hardcopy of all the submitted documents for their future requirements.
In addition to the above, NRI candidates are required to follow the procedure as per MCC Procedure and produce the below documents:
Documents claiming that the sponsor is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsor).
Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of India & Ors. dated 22- 08- 2017.
An Affidavit from the sponsor that he/ she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.
Embassy Certificate of the Sponsor (Certificate from the Consulate).
NEET Score Card of the candidate.
Copy of passport /visa / OCI /PIO of the candidate
Important Points:
Total Fee for MBBS Year 1 has to be deposited prior to arriving for reporting if being done through NEFT/RTGS medium. The candidates/parents opting for DD option will bring along the Demand Draft while reporting at the Venue. The Fee for MBBS Year 1 to be deposited is INR 28,00,000 (Break-up and complete details are provided in the Fees Schedule.
The fee can be paid from multiple source accounts (for General Category only). The Remittance copy for each transaction however, will have to be produced separately ( Remittance Copy Information format is as prescribed.
NRI fee payments are to be done from NRI accounts only.

If the Fee is being paid by Mode of Demand Draft, the Demand Draft is to be issued in the name of Graphic Era Institute of Medical Sciences, payable at Dehradun.

Please note that all outstation candidates and their parents will ensure that they have the details of the Local Guardian of the student (from the District of Dehradun), including their address, active phone numbers and their identity proof. It would be ideal if the Local Guardian can accompany the candidate and his/her parents – however, it is not a compulsion.
The Format of the legal affidavits attached is for your consumption. The facility of obtaining E-Stamps will be available at the Reporting Venue in the stipulated time frame and will be supported by Notarizing facility. In case a candidate/parent wishes to complete the process prior and bring the affidavits signed, stamped and notarized, they are free to do so.
The Medical Certificate Format can be duly filled, stamped and approved by a Qualified Doctor (at least MD with 5 Years of Experience). For the convenience of the parents, the facility of getting your Medical Certificate will also be available in the Campus on the day of the reporting – the Fee for the Medical Certificate obtained at the Campus will be INR 500.

Please do make necessary accommodation arrangements for your family in the multiple hotels available around the campus, as we will not be able to provide Guest House Facility inside the campus, to any parent at this point of time.
